The American Society of Clinical Hypnosis (ASCH) is the largest organization in the United States for health care and mental health care professionals who use clinical hypnosis in their work.  Founded by Milton H. Erickson, MD in 1957, it promotes increased acceptance of hypnosis as a clinical option with broad applications.

The Manhattan Society of Clinical Hypnosis (MANSCH) is the Manhattan component of ASCH.  It is committed to the same high standards, ethics and practices as the parent organization.  Members in this unique interdisciplinary group are all licensed professionals, and typically include psychologists, psychiatrists, clinical social workers, marriage and family therapists, mental health counselors, physicians, masters-level nurses, dentists and chiropractors.  At MANSCH, lectures, discussions, case studies, research papers and educational outreach are important parts of our activities and support our goals.  We learn constantly, from experts and from each other.
