Hypnoprojectives are exploratory tools which give patients access to unconscious percetion and intuitive wisdom.

Hypnoprojectives are invaluable hypnotic search engines that draw upon the potentiality of multi-levels of unconscious meaning and wisdom embedded in personal metaphors and dreams. They can be utilized for exploratory and uncovering work in hypnotherapy, to gain insight and access unrecognized wisdom about behavior or relationship issues, to identify and retrieve unrecognized perspectives from split off parts of the self, to identify hidden resources, to identify and clarify alternative approaches for effective problem resolution and to enhance ego strengthening.

When we approach dream work through a hypnoprojective frame of reference, we can deepen and expand our ways of utilizing this already rich resource for unconscious wisdom and healing.

In using Hypnoprojectives with dreams, we can access information by:

  1. Working with split off parts of the self represented in dreams
  2. Shifting visual perspectives of dream images
  3. Creating new passageways
  4. Titrating affect to uncouple blocking emotions
  5. Unlayering images
  6. Using subtitles and other metaphoric cal representations to regain connection to unconscious wisdom
  7. Weaving several dreams together
  8. Making hypnotic suggestions for new drams to enhance understanding of present ones.
